Maranatha began because of a miracle in the life of Pastor Gerard Dunphy in 1982. From its early days in the kitchen of his home, Maranatha Christian Community Church Waterford has grown into a strong and exciting community. Maranatha is a friendly, multicultural, growing, Irish church with a vision to be groundbreaking, relevant and Christ-centred.
We are a group of ordinary people of all ages, professions and backgrounds. Although we come from different walks of life we have all discovered a real and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.
